Two Week Countdown

Two weeks from today will be my first day in Rome, I expect to be jet-lagged, eating a delicious lunch, and passing out in my hotel. I am really proud of how much I have crossed off my to do list in the last few weeks. I have bought everything I will need, read countless guidebooks, found out about my host family, and practiced my Italian. I am a little worried about being behind, but I have been doing Pimsleur Italian One cd's and looking through my old school books. My favorite purchase is a shoulder purse to take around with me. Did I mention it has stainless steel strap that is impossible to cut, wire mesh in the main compartment that is impossible to slash, and about a zillion zippered pockets. I dare a pickpocket to try. All that is left to do is practice, practice, practice my Italian, buy gifts for my host family, and start packing! How exciting!
